Preview A File

Open the file menu and choose Preview. Drive can preview common visual formats:
  • Images open as image previews.
  • Videos open with playback controls.
  • Documents open in an inline document frame when supported.
If a file type cannot be previewed, Drive shows a No Supported Preview message. You can still download the file.

Download A File

Open the file menu and choose Download. Use download when you need a local copy, want to inspect a file outside Plato, or need to send the original file through another channel.

Copy An Asset URL

Open the file menu and choose Copy Asset URL. Use the asset URL when another tool, page, or integration needs the direct file URL. Only share asset URLs with people or systems that should be able to access the file.

Delete A File

Open the file menu and choose Delete, then confirm the action. Deleting removes the Drive record and the stored object. This action cannot be undone. Before deleting, check whether the file is used in another app, such as:
  • Bio Link pages.
  • Menu products or theme settings.
  • Docs templates.
  • CMS records.
  • Device or receipt images.
  • Connect360 messages or attachments.
If a deleted file was used somewhere else, that app may show a missing image, broken attachment, or unavailable asset.

Delete A Folder

Folders can only be deleted when they are empty. If a folder contains files or subfolders, move or delete those contents first, then delete the folder.
