Use this page for TM-T20III units with Ethernet or wireless network printing.

Supported Connections

Configure From A PC

Use TM-T20III Utility or EpsonNet Config.
  1. Connect the printer to the router or switch by Ethernet, or connect it directly to the PC by Ethernet for recovery.
  2. Install TM-T20III Utility or EpsonNet Config from Epson support.
  3. Open the utility.
  4. Search or refresh until the printer appears.
  5. Select the printer by model, MAC address, or current IP.
  6. Configure TCP/IP settings.
  7. For Wi-Fi models, configure SSID and password in the utility.
  8. Save settings to the printer.
  9. Restart the printer if required.
  10. Print a self-test or network status page and confirm the IP.
TM-T20III wireless setup may use a temporary SimpleAP mode. Epson documents default SimpleAP details in the technical reference guide; follow the printed setup sheet if the printer prints one.
  1. Load paper and close the cover.
  2. Turn the printer off.
  3. Hold Feed.
  4. Turn the printer on while holding Feed.
  5. Release Feed when printing starts.
  6. Press Feed briefly if the printer asks to continue the self-test.

Enter Interface Setup Mode

Use this for network initialization or interface setup when a PC utility cannot reach the printer.
  1. Run the self-test.
  2. When the mode selection prompt prints, hold Feed for at least one second.
  3. Press Feed briefly five times.
  4. Hold Feed for at least one second to enter Interface Setup.
  5. Follow the printed menu.
  6. To reset network settings, choose the Wi-Fi/Ethernet setup item, then choose initialize.
The printed menu is the source of truth for the exact item number.

Configure In Plato

  1. Add a Printer device.
  2. Set Connection Config to Network.
  3. Enter the printed IP address.
  4. Enter the printed port, usually 9100.
  5. Configure the printer template.
  6. Connect the printer to the correct POS.
