Power
- Confirm the printer is connected to power.
- Confirm the power adapter is firmly connected to the printer and wall socket.
- Confirm the power light is on.
- Try another wall socket if the printer does not turn on.
- Turn the printer off for 10 seconds, then turn it back on.
- Do not rapidly turn the printer on and off many times.
Paper
- Confirm there is paper inside the printer.
- Confirm the roll is installed in the correct direction.
- For thermal printers, confirm the thermal side faces the print head.
- Try a new paper roll.
- Confirm the paper size matches the printer setting in Plato, such as
80mmor58mm.
Cover And Jam
- Confirm the printer cover is fully closed.
- Remove jammed paper.
- Remove small paper pieces near the cutter.
- Close the cover again until it clicks.
Error Lights
CheckPower, Error, Paper, and Network or LAN lights if available.
If an error light is on or blinking, check:
- Open cover.
- Missing paper.
- Wrong paper direction.
- Paper jam.
- Printer overheating.
- Disconnected Ethernet cable.
