Use this page for TM-m30 printers with Ethernet or Wi-Fi network support.

Supported Connections

Configure From A PC

Use TM-m30 Utility, EpsonNet Config, or browser config if the printer exposes a web configuration page.
  1. Connect the printer to the router or switch by Ethernet, or connect directly to the PC by Ethernet for recovery.
  2. Print a status sheet and note the IP address.
  3. Put the PC on the same network as the printer.
  4. Open TM-m30 Utility, EpsonNet Config, or http://PRINTER_IP if web config is available.
  5. Configure TCP/IP settings.
  6. For Wi-Fi, configure SSID and password.
  7. Save settings and restart the printer if required.
  8. Print a new status sheet and confirm the final IP.
  1. Load paper and close the cover.
  2. Turn the printer off.
  3. Hold Feed.
  4. Turn the printer on while holding Feed.
  5. Release Feed when printing starts.
  6. Press Feed briefly if the printer asks to continue.
  1. Turn the printer on.
  2. Confirm paper is loaded and the cover is closed.
  3. Remove the bottom cover if needed to access the status sheet button.
  4. Hold the status sheet button for at least three seconds.
  5. Read the printed network settings.
You can also print a status sheet by opening the roll paper cover, holding Feed for at least one second, then closing the cover.

Reset Network Settings

Reset only when the IP or web config access is lost.
  1. Turn the printer off.
  2. Access the status sheet button near the interface ports.
  3. Hold the status sheet button with a pen tip or paperclip.
  4. Turn the printer on while continuing to hold the button.
  5. Release the button after the reset or initialization message prints.
  6. Configure the printer network again.

Configure In Plato

  1. Add a Printer device.
  2. Set Connection Config to Network.
  3. Enter the printed IP address.
  4. Enter the printed port, usually 9100.
  5. Configure the printer template.
  6. Connect the printer to the correct POS.
