Supported Connections
Configure From A PC
Use TM-m30II Utility, EpsonNet Config, browser config where available, or the printed setup flow.- Connect the printer to the router or switch by Ethernet, or directly to the PC for recovery.
- Print a status sheet and note the IP address.
- Put the PC on the same network or subnet as the printer.
- Open the Epson utility or
http://PRINTER_IPif web config is available. - Configure IP, subnet mask, gateway, and Wi-Fi details.
- Save settings to the printer.
- Restart the printer if required.
- Print a new status sheet and confirm the final IP.
Print Self-Test
- Load paper and close the cover.
- Turn the printer off.
- Hold
Feed. - Turn the printer on while holding
Feed. - Release
Feedwhen printing starts. - Press
Feedbriefly to continue the self-test if prompted.
Print Status Sheet
- Turn the printer on.
- Confirm paper is loaded and the cover is closed.
- Remove the bottom cover if needed.
- Hold the status sheet button for at least three seconds.
- Read the printed IP address, MAC address, and network status.
Feed for at least one second, then close the cover to print a status sheet.
Restore Defaults From Feed Button Menu
Use this only when support asks or settings are unrecoverable.- Run the self-test.
- Hold
Feedfor at least one second to enter mode selection. - Press
Feedbriefly four times. - Hold
Feedfor at least one second to enter restore default values. - Press
Feedbriefly once. - Hold
Feedfor at least one second until the restore completion message prints.
Initialize Network Interface
- Run the self-test.
- Hold
Feedfor at least one second to enter mode selection. - Press
Feedbriefly five times. - Hold
Feedfor at least one second to enter interface setup. - Follow the printed menu.
- Select Wi-Fi/Ethernet setup or Bluetooth setup, then choose initialize.
Configure In Plato
- Add a
Printerdevice. - Set
Connection ConfigtoNetwork. - Enter the printed IP address.
- Enter the printed port, usually
9100. - Configure the printer template.
- Connect the printer to the correct POS.
