Supported Connections

Configure From A PC

Use TM-m30II Utility, EpsonNet Config, browser config where available, or the printed setup flow.
  1. Connect the printer to the router or switch by Ethernet, or directly to the PC for recovery.
  2. Print a status sheet and note the IP address.
  3. Put the PC on the same network or subnet as the printer.
  4. Open the Epson utility or http://PRINTER_IP if web config is available.
  5. Configure IP, subnet mask, gateway, and Wi-Fi details.
  6. Save settings to the printer.
  7. Restart the printer if required.
  8. Print a new status sheet and confirm the final IP.
  1. Load paper and close the cover.
  2. Turn the printer off.
  3. Hold Feed.
  4. Turn the printer on while holding Feed.
  5. Release Feed when printing starts.
  6. Press Feed briefly to continue the self-test if prompted.
  1. Turn the printer on.
  2. Confirm paper is loaded and the cover is closed.
  3. Remove the bottom cover if needed.
  4. Hold the status sheet button for at least three seconds.
  5. Read the printed IP address, MAC address, and network status.
You can also open the roll paper cover, hold Feed for at least one second, then close the cover to print a status sheet.

Restore Defaults From Feed Button Menu

Use this only when support asks or settings are unrecoverable.
  1. Run the self-test.
  2. Hold Feed for at least one second to enter mode selection.
  3. Press Feed briefly four times.
  4. Hold Feed for at least one second to enter restore default values.
  5. Press Feed briefly once.
  6. Hold Feed for at least one second until the restore completion message prints.

Initialize Network Interface

  1. Run the self-test.
  2. Hold Feed for at least one second to enter mode selection.
  3. Press Feed briefly five times.
  4. Hold Feed for at least one second to enter interface setup.
  5. Follow the printed menu.
  6. Select Wi-Fi/Ethernet setup or Bluetooth setup, then choose initialize.

Configure In Plato

  1. Add a Printer device.
  2. Set Connection Config to Network.
  3. Enter the printed IP address.
  4. Enter the printed port, usually 9100.
  5. Configure the printer template.
  6. Connect the printer to the correct POS.
