Use this page for external Landi printers that expose an IP address over Ethernet/LAN or Wi-Fi.

Configure From A PC

  1. Connect the printer to power and load paper.
  2. Connect Ethernet from the printer to the router, switch, or directly to the PC.
  3. Print a self-test or network report and note the current IP address.
  4. Open the vendor utility or printer web config if available.
  5. Select the printer by model, MAC address, serial number, or IP address.
  6. Configure IP mode, IP address, subnet mask, gateway, and Wi-Fi settings.
  7. Save and restart the printer.
  8. Print a new self-test or status page and confirm the final IP address.
Most thermal printers use a Feed-button self-test:
  1. Turn the printer off.
  2. Hold Feed.
  3. Turn the printer on while holding Feed.
  4. Release Feed when printing starts.
If the Landi model prints a different setup menu, follow the printed instructions.

Reset Network Settings

  1. Try vendor utility reset or network initialization first.
  2. If the printer has a hardware reset menu, enter it from the printed self-test menu.
  3. Restart the printer.
  4. Configure Ethernet or Wi-Fi again.
  5. Print a new status page and update Plato.

Configure In Plato

  1. Add a Printer device.
  2. Set Connection Config to Network.
  3. Enter the printed IP address.
  4. Enter the printed port, usually 9100.
  5. Configure Template.
  6. Connect the printer to the correct POS.
