Configure From A PC
- Connect the printer to power and load paper.
- Connect Ethernet from the printer to the router, switch, or directly to the PC.
- Print a self-test page and note the current IP address.
- If the printer is on the store network, open a browser to
http://PRINTER_IPif web config is available. - If the printer is not reachable, connect directly to the PC and set the PC Ethernet adapter to the same subnet as the printer IP.
- Use the printer web config or vendor utility to set IP mode, IP address, subnet mask, gateway, and Wi-Fi details.
- Save and restart the printer.
- Print a new self-test page and confirm the final IP address.
Print Self-Test
Most ICE thermal printers use a standard Feed-button self-test:- Turn the printer off.
- Hold
Feed. - Turn the printer on while holding

Feedwhen printing starts.
Reset Network Settings
Reset behavior varies by ICE model. Common recovery path:- Print the self-test page first and keep it.
- Use the printer web config or vendor utility to restore network settings when available.
- If the hardware supports a Feed-button reset menu, enter it from the printed self-test menu and choose the network reset option.
- Restart the printer.
- Reconfigure the network from PC.
- Update Plato with the new IP address.
