# Barcodes

> Add barcodes for scanned products and product lookup.

Use Barcodes when staff need to scan a product in POS or find it quickly.

## Add A Barcode

1. Open the product.
2. Go to `Barcodes`.
3. Click `Add Barcode`.
4. Enter or scan the barcode.
5. Save the product.

## Keep Barcodes Clean

Avoid duplicate barcodes across products. If two products share a barcode, staff may pick the wrong item during service.
