# Create A Menu

> Create a new online menu and choose its public URL.

Create a menu when you want a new customer-facing menu page.

## Before You Start

Decide what this menu is for.

Good examples:

* Main restaurant menu.
* Breakfast menu.
* Ramadan menu.
* Branch-specific menu.
* Event menu.

## Fill The Menu Form

1. Open `Restaurant`.
2. Go to `Menu Management`.
3. Click `Create Menu`.
4. Enter the menu name.
5. Add a short description.
6. Choose the menu type.
7. Choose the domain.
8. Add the URL slug.
9. Click `Create Menu`.

## Choose A Good Slug

The slug is part of the public URL.

Use something short and readable, like `main-menu`, `breakfast`, or `downtown`.

Avoid long names, symbols, and words that are hard to type from a printed QR code.
