# Language Settings

> Choose the default language and additional menu languages.

Language settings control the languages customers can use on the public menu.

## Default Language

Choose the language most customers should see first.

## Additional Languages

Add other languages your restaurant supports.

After adding a language, review customer-facing content:

* Menu name.
* Product names.
* Product descriptions.
* Modifier names.
* Welcome page text.
* Customer form labels.

Do not publish a language until the visible text has been reviewed.
