# Stripe Integration

> Enable online card payments for the menu.

Enable Stripe when customers should pay online from the menu checkout.

## Before Taking Live Payments

Check:

* Stripe is connected correctly.
* Payment methods are configured.
* Ordering settings allow online payment.
* A test checkout works from the public menu.

## Keep A Backup Flow

If the restaurant also accepts cash or card on-site, configure those options in ordering settings so staff can still serve customers when online payment is not used.
