# Landi Printers

> Configure Landi Ethernet, Wi-Fi, or terminal printers for Plato.

Use this page as the Landi printer hub. Landi can mean an external network printer or a POS terminal with a built-in printer, so choose the model/type first.

## Supported Connections

| Connection                    | Plato setting                          |
| ----------------------------- | -------------------------------------- |
| External Ethernet/LAN printer | `Network`                              |
| External Wi-Fi printer        | `Network`                              |
| Internal terminal printer     | `Built-In Printer` or `Android Driver` |

## Configure External Network Printers

1. Configure the Landi printer network from PC or vendor utility if needed.
2. Print the Landi printer self-test page and note the IP address and port.
3. Open `Restaurant` > `Settings` > `Device Management`.
4. Add a `Printer` device.
5. Set `Connection Config` to `Network`.
6. Enter the Landi printer IP address and port.
7. Configure `Template` for the printer job.
8. Connect the printer to the correct POS from `Connected Devices`.

  </Card>
</CardGroup>

## Configure Built-In Terminal Printers

For Landi POS terminals with an internal printer, use `Built-In Printer` or `Android Driver` depending on the device setup.

Use a clear printer name such as `Landi Built-In Receipt` so staff can tell it apart from external kitchen or bar printers.

## Checks

For external Landi printers, check Ethernet or Wi-Fi, IP address, paper, and cover. For terminal printers, confirm the Plato device is using the built-in or Android driver path and test a receipt from the same terminal.
