# ICE Printers

> Configure ICE Ethernet or Wi-Fi printers for Plato.

Use this page as the ICE printer hub. Exact button labels and utilities can vary by ICE model, so use the printed self-test page and printer manual when the model differs.

## Supported Connections

| Connection   | Plato setting |
| ------------ | ------------- |
| Ethernet/LAN | `Network`     |
| Wi-Fi        | `Network`     |

## Configure In Plato

1. Configure the ICE printer network from PC if needed. See [ICE Network 80mm Printers](/printers/models/ice/network-80mm).
2. Print the ICE printer self-test page and note the IP address and port.
3. Open `Restaurant` > `Settings` > `Device Management`.
4. Add a `Printer` device.
5. Set `Connection Config` to `Network`.
6. Enter the ICE printer IP address and port.
7. Configure `Template` for receipts, kitchen tickets, void tickets, reports, or cash drawer.
8. Connect the printer to the correct POS from `Connected Devices`.

## Model Pages

<CardGroup cols={2}>
  <Card title="ICE Network 80mm" icon="printer" href="/printers/models/ice/network-80mm">
    Ethernet/Wi-Fi setup, self-test, PC configuration, and reset checklist.
  </Card>
</CardGroup>

## Recommended Use

Use Ethernet for fixed cashier, kitchen, and bar printers. Use Wi-Fi only when the printer has stable signal and the IP address is reserved.

## Checks

If the ICE printer does not print, check power, paper direction, closed cover, Ethernet or Wi-Fi connection, and whether the IP address in Plato matches the self-test page.
