# Use KDS Settings During Service

> Use full screen, language, lock screen, end session, filters, timers, voice, and sold-out controls.

Open the settings button on the KDS screen to manage the device during service.

## Settings Tabs

KDS settings include:

* General.
* Categories.
* Order Types.
* Timers.
* Voice Assistant.
* Out of Stock Control.

## Full Screen

Use full screen on kitchen displays so tickets are easier to read.

## Lock Screen

Use lock screen when the station should stay signed in but not be used for a moment.

## End Session

End the session when the kitchen device is done for the day or should be restarted from a clean session.
