# Mark Items Sold Out From KDS

> Mark products sold out from the kitchen screen.

Out Of Stock Control lets kitchen staff mark products unavailable from KDS.

Use it when the kitchen knows an item is no longer available before front-of-house staff do.

## Requirements

The KDS must be online to update product availability.

If the device is offline, reconnect it before using this feature.

## Toggle Products

Open KDS settings, choose `Out Of Stock Control`, then toggle the product.

The change syncs so POS and menu workflows can respect the sold-out status.
