# Tags

> Create and manage reusable tags used across Plato apps.

Use Tags when your team needs reusable labels and colors to organize items across Plato apps.

## Create A Tag

1. Open `System Tags`.
2. Click `New Tag`.
3. Enter the tag name.
4. Add an optional description.
5. Choose a color.
6. Click `Create`.

Use the three-dot menu beside a tag to edit or delete it later.

## Keep Tags Easy To Use

Keep tag names short and clear.

Use colors consistently so your team can recognize important tags quickly.

Delete unused tags only after checking whether another app still depends on them.
